A proper Visum is a requirement for the TSA (Transportation Security Administration) for your pilot training

Dependend if you want to become private pilot, commercial pilot or flight instructor, there are different
Visum for each section.

The costs for a Visum are a bit different, depending on your country of citizenship. The total costs for it are
about 300$.

Please be aware, that you have to make the Visum application personaly at the embassy responsible for you. You also might be loaded for a Visum interview at the embassy. Please plan about 2 to 3 weeks from the time of Visum application till you receive it.
