Thanks to its excellent flight characteristics and its direct steering it is the ideal helicopter for basic training. I have already flown over 1500 hours in the Robinson R-22 and find it ideal for training. It is a helicopter with very limited power so you are forced right from the beginning to operate the helicopter to its maximum potential.
