Training costs for a Robinson R-22 are US$ 225 per hour solo and US$ 260 per hour with an instructor. There will be no extra cost for pre-flight and debriefing as is normally done with other American schools. For the training from zero to becoming a Commercial Helicopter Pilot the cost will be approximately US$ 39,970. In addition the cost of food and accommodation for five months will be approximately US$ 5,000 very much depending on if you need lodging, rental car, and other services/items.
