Your basic training will be held in San Luis Obispo, California. San Luis Obispo is one of the best areas for your training in the United States. SLO is close to the Pacific Ocean and this is the reason for it´s mild climate throughout the whole year. There are only a few days of bad weather which do not allow flight training. The close mountain ranges give us the possibility to provide mountain training and high altitude operations.

SLO is a very nice small town with about 44000 residents and is almost exactly in the middle between Los Angeles and San Francisco at the airport of San Luis Obispo. It got the Cal Poly University and this is the reason for loads of activities and nightlife. Only 5 miles are in between the city and the ocean and the same distance to the great mountains. Your time off the flight school will be almost as interesting as flying itself. Compared to other trainings areas, for example Los Angeles, you will have to fly frist for half an hour before you reach areas suitable for proper training.

By the way: We will train you also during the weekend on Saturdays and Sundays as well!
